Sports: MLB Engraved Baseball Bat

Perhaps no other sporting object is more symbolic than that of a simple piece of solid lumber that represents American apple pie and over a hundred good years of history. That’s right, I’m speaking of a simple baseball bat.
The bat has grown up with us and has been around for at least a third of our entire American history. It represented strength as Teddy Roosevelt referenced it in the early 1900’s with the famous expression, “Walk tall and carry a big stick.†It meant power in the fifties when gangsters would tell their enemies, “When you least expect it I’m gonna take a baseball bat to ya head!†We as manly men walk into a sporting goods store and we immediately gravitate to the bat section. We’re not even sure why as we have not visited a batting cage since little league. We absently pick up that familiar piece of pine and marvel at it, wishing we could have it but not able to come up with any earthly reason why we should. Still we want it badly. That’s where you come in.
