Random: Justin Timberlake Rules!
Posted September 27, 2006 2:14 PM
Yes, manly men, Justin Timberlake's new album, Future Sex/Love Sounds is like a throwback to when Prince was cool to listen to in the eighties. I'm talking Purple Rain and 1999 Prince, not the weird 'symbol' Prince.
I'm a straight guy that loves the ladies as much as any other tough guy out there. When I was given the CD as a gift, my first thought was, "this isn't the best gift for a guy." Since all my old cd's were played out, however, I decided to give J.T. a shot. The first track, also the title track, grabbed me. Damn it! I was grooving on this thing. I'm not supposed to like an ex-mouskateer that doesn't have breasts for crying out loud! Track one dissolved into track two, "Sexy Back" and it was over. I rolled the windows down and opened the sunroof and blasted it. I didn't give a rat who wanted to tease me either. This cd just kicks ass, plain and simple. Probably the freakiest moment happened when I was playing the thing, trying to hit his ridiculously high falsetto as I pulled into the driving range to pound some balls at a popular Los Angeles golf facility. Low and behold, three stalls away from me, guess who was hitting his five-iron, in pro perfect form I might add? Yes, you guessed it, the man himself. How is that for strange coincidences? Hope he didn't hear me pull up. Of course when it's blaring out of the hundred watt speakers at full volume who wouldn't have heard it?
Bottom line is...good music is good music. And the way I see it is that if chicks think he's sexy and hot, then they clearly would think that a guy who has the cajones to listen to him would, ergo, also be sexy and hot too. Go out and buy it as a gift for your best guy friend. He'll quietly thank you for it later.
Do you think you're bringing sexy back? Then make sure everybody knows!

Hi dude!
Christmas Day falls on December 25. It is preceded by Christmas Eve on December 24, and in some countries is followed by Boxing Day on December 26. Some Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate Christmas on January 7, which corresponds to December 25 on the Julian calendar. December 25 as a birthdate for Jesus is merely traditional, and is not thought to be his actual date of birth.Bye
