It's probably not fair to attempt a top ten list of the best guy movies ever made, but knowing how hard it is to find the perfect gift for guys, we can think of nothing better than starting a collection of the best testosterone inducing cinematic thrill rides for the buds that we love.

A top ten list is a tricky endeavor to attempt, however. How can we at Guyville possibly be fair? What about all the classics we are sure to miss? What's the criteria for making the final cut? So many questions and so little time. This list will surely raise some eyebrows because we will most certainly leave out some great ones. Case in point, Blazing Saddles, Field of Dreams and The Road Warrior aren't in the top 10. How can that be, you say? We want films that not only have some of the greatest quotes of all time, but we are also looking for the most memorable characters and unforgettable storylines, not to mention watchability factor, i.e, If you can see the film twenty times and not be sick of it, it will be on this list.

Without further ado, and in no particular order, here is THE LIST!

1. ROCKY
"YO Adrian!!!" We dreamed about this, ran countless laps to "dan dan daaaa, dan dan daaaa!!" This is all guy all the way.

2. GOODFELLAS
Watching Joe Pesci shoot and murdalize everything in sight never gets old.

3. STRIPES
The quoting never stops in this one. Hard to disagree with this choice, right? You better agree or Seargant Hulka with the big toe is gonna...well, you know.

4. THE MATRIX
Hey, guess what? "I know Kung Fu." - "Show me." This one broke all of the rules and reinvented modern movie making in the process. The sequels sucked but the original was killer.

5. ANIMAL HOUSE
I think it's safe to say if this one doesn't make the list then someone puts a bounty on my head.

6. THE TERMINATOR
Those chilling two words, "Sarah Connah" before he went ape shit still give me chills. This film spawned amusement park rides, video games and a governor.

7. THE GODFATHER
I have never been able to put orange peels in my mouth since seeing this film as a kid.

8. SCARFACE
"Say hello to my little friend!" This one was a struggle, for while it may not have the watchability of a Stripes, it certainly was unforgettable in its own right.

9. RAGING BULL
Two boxing movies in the top ten you ask? You're damn right! Both deserve to be here. "You never knocked me down Ray. You never knocked me down!"

10. CADDYSHACK
"How 'bout a Fresca?" "Now I know why tigers eat their young." and "Betting is illegal at Bushwood, and I NEVER slice." This film is a walking quotebook of some of the funniest dialogue of all time.

Well, the list is now complete and we at Guyville sincerely hope you enjoyed it. We would love to hear your comments and thoughts on whether you think it's on the money or askew in any way.

Nice choices! Too bad you had to leave out "The Great Escape," "Patton," an "Scent of a Woman." Hoo-wah!
