It’s Hip to Clip? Clipper Nation? Who are these guys? If you thought last years amazing Clipper run was a fluke, then guess again. These guys are for real.

I’ve watched every game this season and though we’re only five games into the season, they are 4 and 1 and they dismantled the all-powerful Dallas Mavericks last night after trailing by 14. You always hear about the necessity for depth in the NBA, well Sterling has finally opened the purse strings and this team fields ten bona fide starters on any other team in the league. Coming off the bench you’ve got Corey Maggette, Tim Thomas, Shaun Livingston, Daniel Ewing and a guy I absolutely love, James Singleton. All right, James might not be a starter on ANY other team in the league, but this kid jumps through the roof, rebounds like Rodman used to and has a sweet jumper that those out of the loop haven’t seen yet. The bottom line is this: Nobody wants to play them because you can’t stop everybody. They have too many options, too many scoring threats, they play defense and you heard it here at Guyville first…they’re gonna win it all this year.
All right, now that I've got you feeling the love for the Clippers, I know the perfect guy gift for Christmas this year…playoff tickets! They’ll be hard to come by for once in thirty years. Or maybe even some Clipper Gear that way you can start wearing it now so you don't get labeled a band wagon jumper
when they go all the way!
