Random: Michael Richards Needs Help!

Holy cow, I know everyone has been talking about this for days now, but that kooky, crazy loveable Cosmo Kramer just unveiled a side of him that no one wanted to see. Was he high? Literally, not figuratively, I have to ask the question…was the man high?

He told Letterman that he just lost his temper. Heck, we’ve all lost our temper before; it doesn’t mean that we scream the worst racial insults we can hurl towards another human being. Maybe they were obnoxious in the top row. Maybe, his comedy wasn’t dead on that night. Who cares? What Cosmo did was unthinkable, and nearly un-watchable. Now often times people will say, there’s a double standard – black comedians can call white people unspeakable names and no one gets offended. That is true, but fifty years ago, as Richards so crudely reminded everyone, white people weren’t strung upside down having utensils shoved up our asses. For this nimrod, we’d like to offer a Guyville gift for the raging guy – The Anger Trap: Free Yourself from the Frustrations that Sabotage Your Life. Hollywood has a short memory and is more forgiving than any other industry, but we’d bet that bleak glimpse into Richards’ soul will likely have him ousted from film and television for a long, long time.
