We welcomed a new addition to the household last week. She is a beauty too. She is soft and smooth and brand spanking new. She has a throaty laugh, a wicked temper and like most women, likes to be in charge. When my wife first inquired about the new Acura RDX (yes it's to be her car), I thought, man that's a chick car all the way. Why not just throw in the
towel and get a Volkswagon Cabrio. The lines of the RDX are sleek, yet somehow appealing to the target audience of 30 to 35 year-old female, small family demographic.

So when I took the keys for a test drive I yawned as I got behind the wheel. That, my friends, is where the boredom stopped. Acura, not known for their turbo technology, really put it together with the RDX. It sprints from zero to sixty in a mere 6.5 seconds, a decent speed for a sports sedan, but wicked fast for a smallish SUV. The S.H. All wheel drive (S.H. Stands for super handling) is so tight and solid in the twisties, you would think you were in a completely different vehicle. The turbo lag is minimal and the whine is refined, yet lets you know there something special under the hood. If a $3k down payment and a three hundred and something per month payment is too much of a gift for your guy this holiday season, then stop screwing around on the weekends and get a second job! He's your guy, after all, and he's worth it!
