Random: Stop Global Warming

Okay, so we're not a political site, we're not a scientific site, we're not the voice of reason site, in fact, we're not much more than an entertaining product review site specifically for gifts for him. However, I'm on a tear after watching a DVD of "An Inconvenient Truth" a few weeks ago. The day after I watched it I read an article that a piece of a glacier larger than Manhattan had just broken off and was creating a big fear among experts that the fast moving piece of ice could wreak havoc with the oil drilling rigs that might come into it's path.

We aren't blind, right? We know what's happening and happening fast right before our eyes, correct? We cannot become so immersed in the day to day trivialities of our lives that we ignore the enormous four-thousand pound gorilla right in front of us. What's it going to be like thirty years from now? Better get those rocket ships ready with space suits and real estate developers, cuz our kids are going to need red clay real estate on Mars. This isn't a wake up call written from the most popular guy site in the world (all right my world), it's an out and out plea, cry, scream for help from everyone who has two legs, two feet and a brain.
