Sports: Sport Illustrated Swimsuits

Did I just get too old or do we rarely hear about the Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Edition anymore? I grew up waiting for this thing in the mail every year. I'd try to get to it before my Dad did and usually ended up succeeding year in and year out. I'd try my best to protect the pages of this thing, but give a 15 year-old kid a new magazine with the world's hottest babes and well, you know what happens. In the early 90's I had season tickets to the Clippers (yes they suck, I was wrong about them AGAIN!) and an interesting conversation came up with the guys in my row.

I posed the question to them, as the Clips took the court against the Michael Jordan led Bulls, "if you had the chance to play one-on-one against Jordan for an hour, or sleep with Cindy Crawford, which would you choose?" I knew that there was absolutely no question about my choice, but every single one of the other guys chose opposite from me. (I'd love to hear what your choice would be, by the way) My no brainer selection was the easy choice of sleeping with the then (and still) smoking hot Cindy Crawford. She was easily the most beautiful woman in the world at that time and it seemed an obvious choice. When every single other red-blooded guy picked an hour of shooting with Jordan I was completely stunned. They all agreed that they could pay a gorgeous woman a couple of hundred bucks to have sex with them, but an opportunity to play the game they loved most with the god of the game would have been an impossible dream come true. They all nodded in unison and in full agreement with each other. Well, whatever...now that I think about it I was about twenty and they were all in their mid-40's. I still say, Jordan Shmordan, bring on Cindy!
