Gadgets: Video Games Good For Your Health

I know it seems like a joke, but a recent report out of Singapore (Reuters Life!) says that U.S. researchers have discovered that video game playing is actually good for your eyes. A University of Rochester study showed that gamers playing action games a few hours a day over the course of a month actually improved their vision by about 20 percent. Apparently action video games change the way our brains process visual information. Play video games, lose glasses. I'm pretty sure the word serendipitous could be inserted somewhere in that last sentence. Well, we are all over finding the best gifts for him on this site and I think we can all agree that a Play Station 3 or Nintendo Wii is in serious order here. If your Valentine's day present hasn't been purchased yet, then get your game on, ladies, you need a gift for him and gifts for men are what we do best.

Guys, when did we ever think we'd get scientific proof that playing video games would actually benefit our health? Finally we have a leg to stand on when we're gaming it up until the wee hours. "Honey, go back to bed, I'm doing eye therapy!" I can see it all now....pun intended.
