Sports: March Madness is The Most...

...wonderful time of the year. Yeah, that's right, at this stage of my life I love it even more than the holidays. That might be because all I do at Christmas time is shell out money to buy gifts for family including third and fourth cousins whose last names I don't really know, while all I seem to get in return is many pairs of really ugly socks. March madness meanwhile gives me all that a red-blooded hoops fanatic like myself could ever want. I got plenty of beer, plenty of pizza, plenty of buddies (tearing up my house in the other room), Nintendo Wii fired up in the other room and Play Station 3 ripping it up in the den.

I am currently 11 and 0 in the South division and am fixing to take home about five hundred bucks in my office pool. Yup, this is about as good as it gets, plus I'm also noticing that the commercials are pretty damn entertaining this year during all of the games. I'm guessing that the advertisers have figured out that with TIVO taking over the world of t.v. they better make each and every commercial as entertaining as those crazy Fed Ex cavemen. Anyway, I just had to share my joy with the rest of you out there enjoying this sweet time of year. Go Kansas...I hated you in 1988 when you and Danny Manning won and my Arizona Wildcats faltered in the final four, but this year I got you going all the way, baby!
