Gadgets: A Friend For Accidents and Morons Alike

Whatever women may say, guys do know something as painful as giving birth to a child and that's losing one. iPods and iPhones may seem like nothing, but they can be the world, at least the companionship of the iPod and its endless musical accompaniment. I'm still not quite hip to the jive surrounding the iPhone. That's a lot of money to be carrying around in a pocket, especially on those nights when you're actively...active (drunk?) and you still have to make phone calls, likely lots of them. Still, holding something like that is risky business.

And right in touch with that R. business is Rapid Repair. They are kings. Repair kings. An article from Bryan Gardiner wired had some horror stories that, with the work done by Rapid Repair, were transformed back into beautiful ones, complete with working guy love-childs. There are a couple really good stories, the first being from a soldier in the Iraq war. Apparently his iPod was with in a humvee when they went over an IED. He was fine but his baby wasn't and RR had it back to him in a week. The other story (the best one) involves an iPhone customer trying to get his SIM card out. To get it you need something like a paper clip to push into a hole at the top. Evidently that was a concept beyond this guy's mental capacity and so decided to drill a bigger hole. Needless to say he effed it up and RR fixed it. Seeing as they are so good though we had to find them a challenge, their greatest challenge, iPhone smoothie.
