The Internet as a whole is ridiculously awesome. There is so much information and communication operating on a global level, all of it available at the click of a button. Given this global reach it's no surprise of the magnitude of junk that is also available online. One are that seems to be exonerated from the junk category are online videos. Maybe it's because of You ube, but nonetheless people are either watching videos or staring in them, no matter how bizarre the topic. One of the most impressive things about online videos is the sheer number of them. You can find funny videos, morbid videos, disgusting videos, informative videos, as well as lots and lots of completely worthless ones (just skip those..except for that one (just so you know what to skip)).

For the most part there are different videos to be found at certain sites. For instance collegehumor.com generally has funny stuff (hence the name) and normal videos that are just fun to watch, ranging from sketch films to comedians and still on to free runners and artsy videos. Youtube.com features many of the same videos as collegehumor, but with a lot more educational and informative videos. For example youtube has a video feed from UC Berkeley that has some awesome seminars. Really though there is way too much junk on youtube to make browsing videos efficient. Sites like metacafe.com do a decent job at solving that problem (they still do have some junk videos) as well as offering the best selection of odd-ball informative videos. You can find out how to do so many things on that site.

Here's an example of one of those odd films that are informative (though this one is from collegehumor)
